Since the practice was founded by Tyrone D. Artz, M.D. in 1978, Kansas Orthopaedic Center has grown from a single physician specializing in surgery of the hand and upper extremities and total joint replacement, to a multi-physician practice representing numerous sub-specialties in orthopaedics and physical medicine.
