Serving as a
physician assistant for Dr. Kent Heady, Corey Rogers feels listening to the
patient's explanation and asking questions to help the patient in that
explanation is very important. “Helping people understand their current
situation, and assisting them to return to as healthy a life as possible is
the goal,” says Corey. “We are truly here to serve the
patients.”
Corey attended Wichita State
University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician
Assistant Studies and Kansas Technical Institute, earning a Certificate in
Emergency Medical Technician.
Corey is certified by the National Commission on Certification
of Physician Assistants, and is licensed with the Kansas State Board of
Healing Arts and the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. He is a
member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Kansas Academy
of Physician Assistants.
Corey enjoys spending time with
his wife, Sheila, and their two children. He likes to play table tennis and
tinker on the computer.
