Dr. Cusick is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in total joint replacement and arthroscopy of the knee. Dr. Cusick received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana, IL. After completing a five-year orthopaedic residency program at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, he continued his postgraduate training with a one-year fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at the Institute for Bone and Joint Surgery in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Cusick practiced at Kansas Joint and Spine Institute for 11 years before deciding to join Kansas Orthopaedic Center. At KOC, Dr. Cusick feels he is able to provide patients with an expertise and a team approach across a broad spectrum of orthopaedic treatments.
He holds numerous professional associations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Past President of the Kansas Orthopaedic Society, Mid-central States Orthopaedic Society, Kansas Medical Society, Medical Society of Sedgwick County and Kansas Joint Research Institute. He is also on the teaching faculty of the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita.
